Mike Ogilvie - Profit Coach and International Professional Speaker

Born in Hastings in East Sussex, but fortunate enough to be exposed to multiple cultures and experiences as a child having been brought up in Kenya, Tanzania, and Nigeria until a teenager, educated in Leicester, Mike has never been satisfied with a routine lifestyle, always looking to try  something new, and his clients benefit from this outward looking expansive attitude.

Spending time with his only child Daniel is most important to him, but sport remains important with skiing, golf and tennis taking priority as hobbies.

Visit Mike's Face Book site for more insight into his life; he does like to live life to the full, and has recently completed the Coast to Coast ride on a mountain bike from Whitehaven on the UK west coast over the lake district mountains through to Newcastle on the east coast, in two long days with a group of friends.

In 2008, with his partner Nadine, he climbed Mount Kinabalu in Borneo, after training on smaller mountains Helvellyn and Snowdon in Uk , and has also ridden the tough off road trail "The South Downs Way" on a mountain bike for charity.

There is a rumour he is signing up for the Eastbourne Half Marathon in March 2010 (unless someone books him for a speech to stop him doing it?)

Mike Ogilvie is an experienced Chartered Accountant by training.

However, although he is the major shareholder and managing director of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers OBC The Accountants, most of his time is focused on his work as one of UK's leading Profit Coaches, with his company The Profit Team.

Mike is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-linguistic programming, and was a founding Director of The Association of Profit Advisers. When he is not using his skills and experience to help his clients to focus on increasing their profitability, he is an international motivational speaker talking at Conferences and Seminars in UK and abroad where, among other thngs, he inspires his audience to adopt a Profit Culture in their businesses.

After a conference in Llubljana in Slovenia, Michael was compared favourably by organizer Robert Rolih with top American speakers Brian Tracy and Chet Holmes and leading English speaker Geoff Burch.

Apart from being a professional speaker, Mike and his team do offer additional business improvement services, and after a recent conference in Tehran Mike was asked to extend his visit to undertake additional assignments with Iranian businesses.

Mike's work experience as a Chartered Accountant and Profit Coach (www.theprofitteam.com) has spanned three decades with different sized  businesses ranging from a top ten national firm to 20 man OBC The Accountants  he currently has in Eastbourne (www.obcaccountants.com)

Working primarily as a Profit Coach and  International Speaker, Michael's clients benefit from his experience, using him extensively for non-exec work.
